All Saints Healing Ministry

Healing is important at All Saints and we have many opportunities to support healing that involve prayer, anointing, the priestly laying on of hands, and other designated services.

We are so blessed to have three wonderful Lay Anointers who are available to anoint with oil (they make the sign of the cross on your forehead with a bit of holy oil on their fingers), and pray for healing. This takes place weekly during the 10:30 am service, usually at the same time as people come forward to receive communion. The Lay Anointer stands to the left of the altar near the bank of prayer candles (under the left television monitor). They have been specially trained to offer these prayers and we're so grateful for their ministry.

Three times a year we are offering services that are specially designated with a healing focus. These services will take place at both the 8:00 and 10:30 am services so that everyone has the chance to pray for healing. Please keep watch for the announcement of those special services.

We also have been offered the gifts of Kit Woods who has been an alternative therapist since 2006. Kit is offering her gifts of Reiki, Reflexology, Meditation and other healing modalities to the community of All Saints and to the wider community as well. They are largely energy-based, spirit-centered, heart-full approaches to healing.
These sessions are not meant to take the place of traditional medicine, but used alongside it.
It isn't about providing a cure, but promoting a deep sense of relaxation and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and restore balance and wholeness of body, mind and spirit.
